These days, there is so much happening in India that it is impossible not to comment on things around you. Any given month, there would be at least half a dozen developments that make you pause, think and comment. If you live in Bangalore, make that a dozen!

Bangalore symbolizes the ‘new’ India in many ways. Through the things I see and experience in this tech city, I try describe this “new” India – this blog is the medium.

Now ask me what is silkbord. If you ever worked with IT industry at Bangalore, you would know “silk board”, the exit way to a major hotspot of Bangalore’s hi-tech industry. This intersection has been a witness to the crazy growth Bangalore has seen – the traffic, techies, the rush. To express myself on Bangalore and its growing pains, I couldn’t think of a better name for the blog.

Comments and encouragements are always welcome at silkboard {at} gmail {dot} com.

  2. Thanks for the kind words Chetana. I sent you a mail. About this 100 thing, I am not sure right now if its a problem across all mobile phones.

  3. Your paper is comming very fine. We are reading every day. But it should be improve in the column of political, women’s columns and others.

  4. Really late reply but thanks Kaiwar. this isn’t a paper as such. I don’t talk politics as much because thats a very opinionated subject. It is probably good for getting more readers to comment, but I’d rather focus on traffic and developmental stuff.

  5. Hi

Bangalore has never had its own bloggers meet what about organising one. Mumbai, Pune, chennai, Cal all have had one. Its sad there are so many good bloggers in this city and nothings being done about it. Let me know

    Cheers

  6. Bangalore is a tech city Divya. We prefer meeting online. Or perhaps our traffic deters us from organizing meetings :)

Let us organize one though. I will request my co-Metbloggers to initiate something.

  7. If u consider about culture i think kolkata is more advance than mumbai. in kolkata is renowned as a city of joy. All kinds of facilities are available in kolkata ie alls different economical persons. But which is not available in mumbai or delhi
